Our team at Powerhouse Basketball Academy (PBA) is committed to helping our youth achieve personal growth while equipping them with life skills. Geared for students ages 4 to 18 throughout Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, we offer quality in-class skill development, competitive team training, and specialized clinics.
With a dedicated staff of Certified Encouraging Coaches, we empower each player to thrive while nurturing a sense of love for the game of basketball. Every step of the way, we focus on clear communication to keep parents in the loop. Meet the Team
Richard Bradstreet
Founder / Head Coach
Coach Rich, a former NCAA Division I player and professional in the Basketball Association of Hong Kong, represents Team Hong Kong in FIBA 3x3 competitions and founded Powerhouse Basketball Academy (PBA) in 2023, where he serves as head coach and director to develop well-rounded athletes and foster positive community impact through basketball. With 11 years of involvement in Hong Kong’s youth basketball scene, he previously expanded programs, revamped curricula, and built partnerships as director of the Hong Kong Basketball Academy.
Bowie Lee
Coach / operations Coordinator
Coach Bowie, a creative and hard-working young talent, who brings a diverse, global perspective to his role. His journey spans from playing Varsity basketball in the U.S. at Mt Zion Prep (a sponsored Adidas select program) to developing coaching skills from a young age. Coach Bowie has been expanding his network across the Euroleague, NBA, NCAA, and G League, with experience working with Atlanture Sports (a top agency in Asia). He now helps shape the next generation of players as a Coach and Operations Coordinator for Powerhouse Basketball Academy

Coach Andrew, a passionate basketball enthusiast with over 25 years of active involvement in the sport, brings a wealth of experience to Powerhouse Basketball Academy (PBA) through his decade-long coaching career and lifelong dedication to the game, which began during his years at South Island School in Hong Kong. His expertise enhances PBA by inspiring players with life lessons, sharing his deep love for basketball, and imparting essential skills and knowledge to foster well-rounded athletes.

Coach Fern volunteers as our specialized camps and clinics coach, imparting the intricacies of the game to PBA players.
Coach Fern was a 1st team all-state high school standout, and southern Arizona Player of the Year. He wet on to play Division I basketball at Davidson College where he appeared in the March Madness NCAA tournament. Following his collegiate career, he played 5 years as a professional in France for VCB Challans and Limoges. Additionally, he proudly donned the colors of the Mexican National Team at the 2003 Pan American Games.
Coach Fern offers a wealth of knowledge to our players and gives key insights into the path of collegiate and professional level ball.
